A dramatic traffic occurred on Saturday afternoon in Georgsmarienhütte! At around 5:38 p.m., a blue Jaguar was reported with Osnabrück license plates, who broke around on the B68 like a ghost driver. Witnesses reported a risky driving style that brought any other road user in great danger. The driver did not flash on the B68 while driving up and even threatened to choose the wrong direction of travel. Almost uncontrolled, he continued his journey on the A33 in the direction of Diepholz without being able to keep the trail!

The risky driver and his alcoholic escapades

The alarm bells rang, and a police patrol was quickly on hand. Just 20 minutes after the first emergency call, at 5:58 p.m., the worrying driver could be stopped on the B65 between Ostercappeln and Wehrendorf. The 45-year-old man from Georgsmarienhütte was slightly alcoholic. An alcohol test resulted in a value of less than 0.5 per thousand, but the police did not rule out that he had also consumed drugs. A blood sample was taken and his driver's license was immediately secured.

First investigations show that the driver has long been noticed by his ruthless behavior. He drove several times in the middle of the two -lane area and changed lanes without flashing enough - an enormous danger for all other road users! Due to the shocking driving style, there was no accident through pure coincidence. The police in Bohmte are now looking for eyewitnesses: If you were endangered on the B68 or A33 by this Jaguar on 02.11.2024 at 5:30 p.m.
