Nikolausmarkt in Wagenfeld: exuberant celebration with heart and craft!
On Sunday, the people in Wagenfeld celebrated the traditional Nikolausmarkt at the St. Antonius Church, which gave a lot of fun with attractions such as a hand-operated children's carousel and an exciting tower climb. Visitors were able to enjoy the festively decorated stands with a clear conscience, while a nostalgic carousel, established by Rolf Dunger, delighted children. This unique ride is a special feature, because it works without a computer, solely by the power of the muscles and accompanied by Christmas carols, like the Kreiszeitung reported .
Special offers also came from local exhibitors who presented creative and sustainable products. Anja-Maria Eckeler showed what upcycling means and offered handmade bags made of old fabrics. For the little guests there was a place for tinkering and the opportunity to greet goats and sheep. The campfire on which stick bread was baked caused a cozy atmosphere and led to the fact that the market was visited until late at night despite the sometimes stormy weather.strong comeback in Zell am Harmersbach
The traditionally designed supporting program, which was supported by the trade and trade association, included children's gifts that were distributed in the morning, and a mulled wine stand for adults. The return of the events shows the great interest of the community in such celebrations and gives hope for a nice Advent season.
