Celebrate inclusion: final event in the Syke district museum!
Syke, Deutschland - On November 22, 2024, the district museum in Syke becomes the setting for a special event! From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. the large final event of the "Participation and Accessibility" series will take place, which was launched on the occasion of the five -year existence of the action plan Inclusion in the Diepholz district. This initiative has the goal of putting the participation of people with impairments and the topic of accessibility at the center of society.
In the past few months, numerous events have highlighted basic education, participation in working life, mobility as well as leisure and sports offers. On November 22nd, visitors can expect an exciting review of these activities. The event not only offers the opportunity to talk about participation and accessibility, but also interactive experiences such as a wheelchair and blind course as well as an escape room. The inclusive groups "Butterflys" from Syke and "Unikat" from Melchiorshausen will show with their appearances how common coexistence succeeds.
admission and program
Entry to the district museum is free of charge on this day and registration is not required. For better planning, however, interested parties can register at www.diepholz.de/veranstaltungsreihe-ziebschlich . The program begins at 2:00 p.m. with coffee and cake, followed by a greeting from the district administrator Volker Meyer and an introduction by Saskia Bredemeier from the coordination office inclusion and integration. The highlights of the afternoon are the appearances of the inclusive dance and drum groups that take place at 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
