WSSV trainer demands: We have to give everything against Delmenhorst!

In a dramatic handball weekend in Wilhelmshaven, the WSSV faces a decisive challenge! After a painful home defeat against Lilienthal, in which the team went down with 27:33, coach Andreas Meinke demands an immediate increase in all areas. "We have to put at least one step in the communication, defense, switching game and in retreat behavior," calls his players to more commitment. The Jadestädter, who are 4: 4 points on the 8th place, go into the upcoming duel against HSG Delmenhorst II.

The game takes place on Friday evening at 8:45 p.m. in the Nogathalle and marks the end of a chaotic appointment. Delmenhorst originally wanted to cancel the game for personnel reasons, but coach Meinke rely on the execution. "The relay management nevertheless dropped the game, which surprised me very much," said Meinke. The negotiations for a new appointment were tough and threatened to end in a forced approach to neutral soil. But finally an agreement could be reached!

The opponent in focus

The HSG Delmenhorst II has presented itself in the league with 7: 1 points and will be a hard nut for the WSSV. "Players like the former Vareler Coors, Oetjen or Janßen are of course known," admits Meinke, while concentrating on the strengths of his own team. "We trained well, the mood is better than last, but we just have to run the ball better in the attack." The fans in Wilhelmshaven hope for a turn and a gripping game that the Jadestädter could bring back to the track of success!
