U14 state title: Heubach and wall triumph in a double final!

Delmenhorst, Deutschland - In a gripping final, Linus Heubach from TC Blau-Weiß Delmenhorst and Felix Mauer from Wardenburger TC fought the U14 state title in doubles! The talented duo, set in three, has paved the way to the German Championship with impressive achievements, which is already coming next weekend.

The two young tennis stars showed their skills right from the start. In the first round they gave their opponents Jorin Husmann and Sebastian Koch (TSV Bemerode Hannover/TSV Rehden) no chance in the clear 6: 1, 7: 6. They also continued their triumphal march in the quarter -finals and defeated Leonard Kilian and Levin Hille (TV Berenbostel and TC Bissendorf) 7: 5, 6: 2. In the semifinals, Heubach and Wall were a class of their own and sent Jonne Epping and Justus Strootmann (SC Spelle/Venhaus and TV Sparta Nordhorn) with a clear 6: 2, 6: 2 - the two had previously switched off the top seed duo in a dramatic match!

The final was a real thrill! Daan Kris Marinov Spellmeyer (Ottersberger TC) and Carl Grohbrüg (TC BW Scheeßel), who were number two, started strongly and won the first set 6: 3. But Heubach and Wall were not discouraged and fought their way back into play with a 6: 4. The decisive match tiebreak had to bring the decision, and here the Delmenhorster proved nerves made of steel! With an impressive 10: 5 they secured the title and crowned their outstanding performance.
