A central goal of violence prevention is to deal with physical and media violence, including the increasingly threatening phenomenon of cyberbullying. Here, the students not only learn to de -escalate conflicts, but are also guided to show civil courage. Media prevention also includes topics such as the criminal liability of content shared on the Internet, including pornographic and violent materials. Gun law is also dealt with in the measures. In the area of drug prevention, graded measures are offered: In the 6th grade, the “Drop & Hop” project is initiated to investigate addictive substances and to strengthen life skills, while in the 8th grade the “Liberation” project serves to discuss everyday drugs and risky consumption patterns.
