Free collection of Christmas trees in Delmenhorst will start soon!

In many households in Delmenhorst, there are festively decorated fir trees that have to be disposed of after the holidays. The city administration offers a free street collection for disused Christmas trees. This pick -up begins on Monday, January 13th, and will take place in the absorption district. The last pick -up is planned for Friday, January 24th, in the dropout district of five.

The removal dates can be viewed in the waste calendar on the urban website www.delmenhorst.de/ Abfall calendar . It is important that only decorated Christmas trees are provided for collection, since jewelry on the tree prevents proper composting. The maximum length of the fir for collection is two meters. Alternatively, trees can be disposed of at the waste assembly points, whereby fees can be incurred.
