Dog horror in Friesoythe: Peta saves neglected animals from apartment!

Friesoythe, Deutschland - A terrifying case of animal abuse was uncovered in the district of Cloppenburg! According to a whistleblower, seven young dogs and her mother were kept under catastrophic conditions in a dirty apartment in Friesoythe. The pictures that were available to PETA show flated rooms and a room that was contaminated with feces until the incoming. The walls were scratched and the animals were in a worrying state. Peta acted quickly and reported the grievances to the veterinary office, which then immediately initiated the confiscation of the dogs.

"We are relieved that the veterinary office reacted so quickly. Hopefully the dogs will soon find a loving home," says Lisa Redegeld from Peta. It emphasizes the urgency with which such cases have to be treated and appeals to the citizens to be vigilant. "Every day we get reports of cruel animal husbandry. We rely on the support of the public to help these animals." These shocking circumstances once again show that many dogs from breeding have a difficult start to life. PETA recommends adopting animals from the shelter instead.

adopt instead of buying

The purchase of dogs from the breeder tightens the emergency of homeless animals! In Germany, over 10.6 million dogs already live, while around 350,000 animals are released or exposed to animal shelters annually. 25 to 30 percent of these animals remain in the shelter for more than a year. PETA asks animal lovers not to support breeding and instead to give a home in need of help. The organization started in its 30th anniversary in 2024 and demands the legal recognition of animals as the carrier to protect them from specialism.
