HACHSHAUER provides chaos: four accidents on the A1 and high damage!

On Friday evening, four traffic accidents occurred on Autobahn 1 between Cloppenburg and Vechta, which were caused by a sudden hail shower. The weather conditions led to smooth lanes, which subsequently led to high damage to property and a slightly injured person. The total damage was estimated at over 120,000 euros, such as Nord24 reported.

The first accident occurred around 5 p.m. when a 41-year-old man from Bad Oldesloe lost control of his Audi and collided with a VW on the side. The 34-year-old driver of the VW from Damme was slightly injured, while the property damage on the vehicles was around 70,000 euros. Investigations have been initiated because the Audi was only equipped with summer tires. At 5:35 p.m. there was another accident in which two BMW drivers and a VW travel in front were involved in a collision. Fortunately, there were no injuries in this incident, but the property damage amounts to around 50,000 euros.

at 6 p.m. a 27-year-old driver from Oldenburg with his Suzuki caught due to aquaplaning and collided with the middle protection plank, with damage of around 2,000 euros. The last accident occurred a few minutes later: a 24-year-old man from Rotterdam collided with his VW against the external protection plank, also triggered by aquaplaning, and caused damage of around 2,000 euros. The police in Ahlhorn pointed out the risk of winter road conditions and recalled the duty of winter tires, which can be punished for violations with fines of up to 120 euros and a point in Flensburg, as well as
