Wolfsburg celebrates volunteering: Invitation to the big volunteer festival!

The city of Wolfsburg is planning a special event that will take place on November 6th at 6 p.m. in the Hallenbad Kulturzentrum on Schachtweg. It is the seventh volunteer festival, which is organized in cooperation with the Sparkasse Celle-Gifhorn-Wolfsburg. This event is intended to offer the many committed citizens of the city an entertaining evening and create the opportunity to exchange personal experiences.

around 100 volunteers and their partners are invited to the celebration. These are proposed by associations, institutions and organizations, which makes the preparations even more special for the festivities. "Our volunteers in Wolfsburg are priceless! They make our city life and lovable and therefore deserve great recognition," emphasizes Mayor Dennis Weilmann. According to him, the festival will be a wonderful opportunity to thank the volunteers for their commitment and celebrate their importance in the community.

Invitation to the proposal round

The reasons why many people voluntarily get involved are different, but the effects are clear: volunteers contribute to the fact that life in Wolfsburg becomes more worth living. They stand up in clubs, associations or in special projects for the well -being of their fellow citizens, which the cityscape is happier and more warm.

interested citizens have the opportunity to submit suggestions for the guest list until October 14th. This is done via the volunteering department by e-mail to engagiert@stadt.wolfsburg.de, whereby a brief reason for the proposal is required. Since the number of participants is limited, with a high number of suggestions, the lot will decide who is invited to ensure a fair selection.

This event once again shows how important volunteering is for the community and how it contributes to strengthening social cohesion.
