The recycling center is available on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., which is one hour more than before. In addition to the changed opening times, structural adjustments and a new organizational concept are also being planned to further improve the situation on site. However, everything remains the same with regard to the assumption of pollutants, which continues to take place every two weeks on Fridays. For those whose waste is too large for the regular bins, the Großefehn waste disposal center offers the possibility of delivering a variety of waste types during the new opening times in Georgsheil and on the islands of Juist, Norderney and Baltrum, as is carried out on MKW-Großefehn.de.
