New hiking trails in Ammerland: Discover hidden paths!
New hiking trails in Ammerland: Discover hidden paths!
The newly designed hiking brochure of Ammerland tourism ensures a breath of fresh air among hiking friends. The brochure not only offers an extended selection of hiking routes, but also a modern presentation that makes it easier to explore the region. Three new round tours were presented, two in Rastede and one in Dänikhorst originated. This is particularly pleased about hiking enthusiasts such as Frank Jacob, who is moving through the German low mountain ranges and the Alps every year and has now tested the new routes.
The new hiking guide is available free of charge in the tourist information in Ammerland and presents a clear and clear map display. The brochure offers 13 routes and valuable tips on gastronomy, sights and useful navigation apps. The signage on all hiking trails was also renewed, with striking orange signs with white writing show the way to the hikers. The path markings are now signposted both in and against clockwise, which makes navigation considerably easier.
The new route in the Schlosspark Rastede
Frank Jacob started his exploration tour with the route "Schlosspark Rastede", which has a length of 5.2 kilometers. Despite the existing signs, he initially did not find the specific labeling for this route. This shows the potential for improvement, since the new markings are still waiting. The head of Ammerland tourism, Frank Bullerdiek, said that the signposts were already available, but the integration into the existing signage system is currently being checked.
During the hike, Jacob noticed that some signs are no longer legible and that remnants of older signs, sometimes even with graffiti, make orientation difficult. Especially at points where hikers and cyclists are on the road at the same time, there is a lack of significant indications that could increase the security, since the parking street, over which hikers cross, is approved for drivers at up to 100 km/h.
The hiking trails lead through the picturesque castle park, which particularly captivates with its beautiful landscape. A junction from the wide gravel path leads through a charming forest path. Here the room could be interesting for a new way of walking the hiking lines, as these sections offer a particularly attractive character.
discovery in the Dänikhorster Moor
The hike in the Dänikhorster Moor started promising with marked paths through a delightful landscape. However, the mean section of the route turned out to be less appealing because the route followed for one and a half kilometers straight of an asphalt road. The hiker often encountered tractors and other road users, which impaired the nature experience. Nevertheless, the landscape on the edge of the road sections, where moor lakes and birch trees can be found, was a picturesque.
Another beautiful section of the tour led over a somewhat overgrown path that is not recommended when wet. This part of the route with its near -natural experiences was significantly eliminated and offered a welcome change to the otherwise rather interchangeable route tours. Jacob also wants such sections for other hiking trails in Ammerland, as they would significantly enrich the hiking experience.
Overall, the new hiking brochure presents itself as a promising tool for nature lovers and hikers who want to discover the beauties of the region. Despite technical and organizational challenges in the implementation of the new paths and markings, the brochure can potentially address a large target group of those interested in hiking due to its comprehensive and user -friendly design and help them to enjoy the variety of the Ammerland landscape. Further tips and details on the new hiking routes are happy to be provided by Ammerland tourism to facilitate the use of the offers.
