In the race for the orientation of the Lower Saxony State Garden Show 2030 there are now two hot contenders! Shortly before the deadline, Duderstadt in the district of Göttingen and Bad Zwischenahn in the Ammerland district registered their interest. However, as the Ministry of Agriculture emphasizes, no official applications have yet received! The tension increases because the application period ends on November 1st. What will the other communities do? Will you still jump on the train?

The decision on the winner will only be made in the first quarter of 2025. A specially used evaluation commission will check all applications and create a recommendation. Ultimately, the state government makes the final decision. The excitement among the communities could hardly be greater! The state of Lower Saxony plans to participate in the financing with up to six million euros. Of this, five million euros should flow into long -term investments and up to one million euros could serve to cover possible financing gaps.

Bad Zwischenahn was already the scene of the first state garden show in 2002, while Duderstadt in 1994 the state exhibition nature in the urban development. This return of the garden show to proven places is already in the starting blocks!
