Mülheim, Deutschland - in Mülheim an der Ruhr, a revolutionary change in the emergency services is scheduled! From December, the telenot doctor, an innovative concept that emerges from a distance online, could become a reality. This digital rescue measure is not only used in Mülheim, but also in the adjacent cities of Oberhausen and Essen!

How does the telenot doctor work?

The principle is simple, but awesome: If there is no emergency doctor on site in the event of a medical emergency, paramedics can contact the telenot doctor via cell phone, radio or video. This makes it possible for the non-medical staff to examine patients under the guidance of the telenot doctor and make diagnoses. This support could be crucial to act quickly and to save life in critical moments!

The decision on the introduction of the telenot doctor will be made in the Mülheim city council in early December. The Mülheim fire station will serve as a location for the telenot doctor and thus play a central role in medical emergency care. This future -oriented project could significantly increase the efficiency of the emergency services and raise patient care to a new level!
