Daniil Khudiakov becomes kickboxing world champion: a triumph in Vienna!
Big news from the world of kickboxing! 17-year-old Daniil Khudiakov rocked Austria and sensationally secured the title in the U18 class up to 65 kilograms at the World Championships in Vienna. The young fighter from the Memmingen sports club “Herzblut” made the competition look old when he triumphed in dramatic fights against opponents from all over the world!
The World Cup was held by the “International Sport Kickboxing Association” (Iska), the largest kickboxing organization. Daniil impressed with a real “hammer performance”: He mowed down his opponents in four fights - he defeated two by knockout and two more with clear point victories. He proved he was a true talent by defeating kickboxers from Ireland, England and Romania before facing the Japanese champion in the final, giving him no chance. Out of a total of twelve rounds, he only gave up one, which underlines his dominance!
The challenges of the “Herzblut” team
Despite the defeats, the mood in the “Herzblut” team was euphoric! Coach Stephan Jorek was enthusiastic about the performance of his protégés. Many of them have struggled with health issues, which makes their impressive performances all the more remarkable. Daniil Khudiakov is the new hero from Memmingen, and the world will be watching him!
