Memmingen, Deutschland - A record visit to Memmingen! On Sunday afternoon, around 650 citizens flocked to the town hall for the citizens' meeting - an unprecedented interest! Mayor Jan Rothenbacher was enthusiastic about the response and informed about numerous urban projects. The citizens took the opportunity to present their concerns, including the urgent demand for traffic calming around the Mitteresch and the parking situation in Kalker Feld and Buxacher Straße. The increasing sealing through gravel gardens also caused discussions.

economic concerns in focus

A special focus was on the traffic situation at the wine market. A group of 51 traders expressed their wishes for more short -term parking spaces and a better accessibility of the city center. Under the feedback, there was also a great praise to the city nursery for the redesign of the shooting gardens into a new park. In his report, Rothenbacher focused on central urban development projects and announced the event and commemoration year "500 years of twelve articles".
