Wismar shines: The colorful November lights attract families!

Wismar soon shines in the colorful glow of lights! On November 8th and 9th, the city turns into a spectacular sea of lights when the "November lights" illuminate the city center for the 18th time. A highlight for young and old that brightens the dreary November days! Stadtwerke Wismar invite everyone to participate in these magical evenings and to experience the city in a completely new light.

The exciting light city tours begin at 7 p.m. in front of the Thormann memory in the old harbor. From there it goes past the impressive brick cathedral, where visitors can admire fir art. The path continues to the colorfully illuminated Krämerstraße and through the Hegede to the market square - an unforgettable experience that makes the hearts of the participants beat faster!

Multimediale Show at the Marien-Forum

Another highlight is the multimedia show at the Marien-Forum, where the film "365 days in our city" will be shown on the town hall facade. This impressive presentation shows the highlights of the past year and takes place every half hour on both days from 8 p.m. The atmosphere is lively accompanied by musical performances on a small stage between the shows.

Family-friendly lampion handicrafts

For families there will be a special attraction on Saturday, November 9th: Lampion handicrafts in the Zeughaus, Ulmenstraße 15, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Here, parents can design creative lanterns with their children who will shine to the market square during the subsequent lantern parade. The move, accompanied by the Wendorfer brass music, starts at 5 p.m. - a perfect conclusion for a festive day!

"We look forward to many visitors who can be reconciled by the fascinating light points," says Sylvia Bartsch from the Stadtwerke. The "November lights" are not only a thank you to the loyal customers, but also a celebration of the community and the energy that the city holds together!
