Scandal about gas pipeline: doubts about certification and secret connections!

The Gaspipeline Nord Stream 2 is at the center of a huge scandal! FAZ documents reveal that the certification of the pipeline most likely should never have been approved. A central employee of the company who was responsible for the certification had previously worked for Nord Stream 2. And that's not all: the proximity between the company and the Bergamt Stralsund raises massive doubts about the independence of the exam!

On Friday, the investigation committee of the "Foundation Klima" will shed light on the explosive details in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament. Two brothers, Steffen and Lasse Petersen are the focus. Steffen was the managing director of the "Climate Foundation", while Lasse heads BOS Baustoff & Offshore Service GmbH, which received the certification order. A law firm makes it clear that BOS neither created the certification nor the report itself - everything was done by external experts. But how independent are these experts really?

unexplained connections and burning evidence

The complications are becoming increasingly complicated. Another company that was originally commissioned for the expert work withdrew, presumably due to impending US sanctions. Bos took over and stated that no other service provider was willing to submit an offer. The project manager Nils B. had previously worked for Nord Stream 2 - how independent can such an assessment be?

The role of the Stralsund mountain office is also questionable. According to reports, the authority asked the Bundeswehr for secret coordinates for NATO submarine diving areas. This could have provided Russia valuable information! There are also reports on burned tax documents from the "Climate Foundation", which was fed by the Kremlin Group Gazprom with 20 million euros. Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig is under pressure, while the committee of inquiry is only slow. "The 'climate foundation' blocks the investigation," complains Sebastian Ehlers (CDU). The question remains: Has the approval for Nord Stream 2 been granted under political pressure? The answers could be shocking!
