New coordinator in Grimmen: Sandra Lehmann brings a fresh wind!

Grimmen. In an exciting change, the Vorpommern-Rügen elements in Grimmen has a new coordinator: Sandra Lehmann beforehand the district administration has now taken over the reins in the educational institution. "That fits, after all, I live with a man and two dogs in Elmenhorst, so a little denser in Grimmen than to Stralsund," she explains enthusiastically.

Since September it has been part of the team and has already settled in well. At her side is Regina Bäcker, the well -known face of the adult education center, which is responsible for registration. Sandra Lehmann's tasks not only include the management of the regional office, but also the pedagogical cooperation - a challenge that she accepts with open arms. "I can get really creative here," she enthuses.

Exhibition organized for the next year

Lehmann's first initiative? An exhibition entitled "Landscape and Coast", which is planned for the next year. She visited a talented painter who wants to present his works. "I admire his creativity - he paints about three pictures a week!" She says full of enthusiasm. In addition, the Grimmener Anke Hanusik will exhibit some of her photos in the adult education center, while in May the paintings of a former Grimmener from Hesse are shown.

Yoga lecturer wanted

But that's not all! Sandra Lehmann has big plans for the future. "We focus on what is going well here," she says. A new course, "Animal Flow", which combines elements of yoga and break dance, starts on January 8th in the sports forum. She is also urgently looking for a yoga lecturer. There are two hockey gymnastics courses with Dorle Gritzan for the sprightly seniors, which start from January 7th. The Volkshochschule Grimmen is ready to break new ground and to bring fresh wind to education!
