This creates massive irritation among the drivers who unsuspectingly drive into the construction site and then do not know how to get out.

On Monday morning, many drivers were still completely unprepared and drove directly to the construction site stitch road. Another curious phenomenon has been observed in Brunnenstrasse: Despite the signs that indicate the blocked passage, some road users do not seem to understand which redirection they need to take. Traffic signs announce "traffic management", but the confusion remains great.

Before entering the large waterway, there are signs that warn that the road for right-wing turns ends in a dead end. But at the same time there is a one -way sign that points to the right. What now? Least turns or not? This uncertainty means that many drivers, including professional drivers with vans, rank backwards through Brunnenstrasse - and that contrary to the permitted direction of travel! A risky maneuver that can result in a fine of 50 euros and is extremely dangerous on the street parked on both sides.

Transport authority reacts!

An employee of the traffic authority found after an on-site inspection that the signage may be misleading. "In our opinion, something is actually missing," said the employee. The authority plans to check and adapt the signage in accordance with the traffic law order. In addition, there is a ban on stopping in the large waterway until December 13th, while the construction work is going on.
