Marco Gianni: The social media star conquers Schwerin with humor!

Marco Gianni, the charming comedian from Berlin, is currently enthusiastic as a Christmas elf in a Lidl advertising and attracts attention. But the 26-year-old has more than just commercials! On November 27, he brings his stage program to Schwerin, where he wants to make the audience laugh with sharp humor and a pinch of self -irony. "In the past you wanted to watch TV," said Marco. "Today you take what you get - whether Instagram, YouTube or Tiktok."

With around two million followers on social media, Marco Gianni has established herself as a comedy star in recent years. He exposes the illuminated world of social media and puts the excessive self -image of our digital society on the grain. Born in Heidelberg in 1997, he first entered the stage in 2022 and now wants more of it. "From the beginning it was always the goal of making shows," he explains. The transition of short, concise videos to social media to longer stage programs was an exciting challenge for him.

The reality of tour life

However, life as a tour comedian is not always glamorous. "You are much alone, often wait hours in the backstage," admits Marco. But despite the loneliness and the many trips, he enjoys the time on stage: "The two hours with the audience are the beautiful part of the job." In private, Marco is a great family man, but the tours make it difficult for him to regularly spend time with his loved ones.

When asked how he deals with the current situation in the comedy scene, he replies: "One should not be offensive. The goal should be to make people laugh without trampling on them." Marco stays loyal and does not change his show to reach more people. "It is a good feeling to know that you can reach people without having to bend."
