Refurbishment of the L031: Full closure between Upahl and Bad Kleinen!

Upahl/Bad Kleine. The Schwerin road construction office has announced the full closure for two critical road sections. From Monday, November 18, until Friday, November 29, the street will be impassable for all road users. The reason? The asphalt ceiling has its best days behind and urgently needs to be renewed!

In the first construction phase, the asphalt cover layer is partially milled over a length of around two kilometers between Harmshagen and Klein Krankow. Then a new, robust blanket is applied. The second section, which is located between the B 208 near Bobitz and the B 106 near Niendorf, also receives a fresh cure - not only the asphalt ceiling, but also the binder layer is renewed here. Both sections are in need of renovation and must now be tackled!

Dead lines for everyone!

The diversions are already being planned! For the section between Harmshagen and Klein Krankow, a detour from uplahl via Mühlen Eichsen (B 208), Bobitz (B 208) and Groß Krankow (L 031) is signposted. Residents will be informed in good time and the accessibility of their properties remains largely guaranteed. For the second construction area from Bobitz, you go via the B 208 towards Wismar and the B 206 back to Bad Kleinen. Bus traffic remains regular on the L 031 in both directions until 8 a.m.

Financing by the country!

The costs for the renovation work are not without! Around 350,000 euros flow into the renewal between Harmshagen and Klein Krankow, while the work between the federal highways 208 and 206 costs around 900,000 euros. But don't worry, the country will cover all costs! The company Eurovia Verkehrbau and the TSS deep and road construction Schwerin take care of the implementation. After the full closure, it will continue in both areas under half -sided traffic routing with traffic light control.
