Nutcracker drama in Neubrandenburg: Children dance around the sugar fairy!

A magical spectacle full of lively energy awaits the spectators on November 14th in the Neubrandenburg concert church! The Nordkurier symphonists and the Dance Department bring Tchaikowski's famous "Nusscracker" on stage, and that with a very special grade-more than 60 young dancers will bring the magical scenes of the legendary ballet to life! The performance, moderated by Kika star Juri Tetzlaff, promises to become a festival for the senses that makes the hearts of young and old spectators beat faster.

The choreographer Kristin Rennack is enthusiastic about the challenge that the performance brings. "This is a great task," she says, while speaks of the high expectations that awaken the popular music and fairytale history about nutcrackers and mouse king. The snowflake waltz, once choreographed by George Balanchine, will be a dream dream for many of the young dancers. With a lot of passion and ability you will bring your passion for the ballet on stage.

A call to participate!

The Nordkurier also launched a painting competition, and the response is overwhelming! Over 125 entries have been received and exciting prices such as concert tickets are waiting for the happy winners.
