Neubrandenburg is preparing: 85,000 liters of water become ice!

The big ice adventure begins in Neubrandenburg! In the new.sw ice skating hall, an incredible 85,000 liters of water are currently flowing to the huge area of 800 square meters. This water will freeze in the next three to four days and turns into a smooth ice rink that makes the hearts of ice skating fans beat faster. An innovative cooling system made of aluminum tube ensures that the ice reaches an impressive thickness of about ten centimeters. The anticipation for the upcoming ice rink is already noticeable!

While the ice is set up, preparations for the bistro are also in full swing. Anke Zdila and her team from the Neustrelitzer Hafen-Restaurant Live-Werk are ready to spoil visitors with delicious snacks and drinks. The 16th Ice4Fun season starts on Tuesday, November 26, at 4 p.m. with a short opening. Eislauf fans can look forward to an unforgettable experience by January 6, 2025, while the Christmas holidays are in full swing.
