The Mecklenburg Lakes Round (MSR) also offers 2025 exciting challenges for cycling enthusiasts. This series of events represents a 300-kilometer bike tour, which leads the participants through the picturesque landscape of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The focus here is less on speed, but rather on the experience of the journey itself. The start and the destination of the tour are in the Kurpark of the city of Neubrandenburg, where an expo and festival area is also offered to entertain the participants.

The MSR 2025 is not only intended for passionate cyclists. There is also a special 100 -kilometer route that was designed exclusively for women. This round runs from Neubrandenburg through the picturesque Feldberger Lake District and back. Interested parties can register from October 1, 2024 at 8:25 p.m.

Details about the event

The official starting sign for the 11th edition of the MSR takes place on May 31, 2025, with the first participants being sent onto the route from 3 a.m. A special regulation allows you to start until 7 a.m. The entire tour must be completed within 24 hours, as the destination should be reached again in Neubrandenburg at midnight. Several control and refreshment points are set up along the route that runs via public roads to support the participants during the long journey. The events in the spa park on May 30 and 31, known as the saddle festival.

The MSR has developed into a popular event over the years, with more than 4,000 participants in 2024, the tenth edition of the event. The community that has formed around this cycling festival is an important part of the event.
