Lantern parades enlighten Neubrandenburg: Celebrate in the glow of lights!

in Neubrandenburg and Friedland it will be colorful and bright again in November! On Thursday, November 7th, the spectacular lantern festival begins with the motto "The Datzeberg shines". After dark, cheerful participants sing through the streets with their lanterns-an autumn consumption that heats the hearts of people, according to the regional association of the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund. The highlight of this event? A magical interplay of light and vocals that illuminate the dark November nights!

But that's not all! On the same day, the SV Turbine Neubrandenburg association invites you to a lantern parade in the Kulturpark. At 4:30 p.m. the participants meet in front of the sports high school, and then it goes at 4.45 p.m. across the beautiful cultural park. The move with delicious sausages and waffles is celebrated at the club house in Batheweg 4b! If you want to participate, you should definitely register via Instagram or a trainer beforehand.

Lantern parades in Neubrandenburg

On Friday, November 8th, the Neubrandenburgers can participate in the glowworm parade under the motto "magical sparkle in the dark". The move starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Turmstraße/Wartlaustraße intersection and is presented by the Neubrandenburger Wohnungsgesellschaft (Neuwoges). A truly magical experience is waiting for all large and small lantern wearers!

The highlight of the lantern parades will follow on Monday, November 11th. The parish and the Johannes-Kita Burg Stargard invite you to the St. Johannes Church at 5 p.m., where the history of Sankt Martin is performed. After that, the move to the fire brigade begins at 5:45 p.m., where the evening should end comfortably at the campfire. It is also celebrated in Altentreptow and Friedland - lanterns shine, stories are told, and Martinshörnchen are waiting for hungry guests! A festival for the whole family!
