Friedland invested: New skating park with 3 pavilions for young people!

Friedland, Deutschland - In Friedland there are gratifying news for all skate fans. In their meeting on Wednesday, October 9, the city representatives unanimously decided that the skaters park should be equipped with three new pavilions. This initiative aims to create an inviting and central meeting point for the children and adolescents in the city that is actually used.

The current state of the skate park leaves something to be desired; Most of it consists only of individual skate elements. In order to increase the attractiveness of the park, the city representatives emphasized that the new pavilion should serve the young skateboarders and their friends. The goal is to create an environment in which young people feel good and spend time together.

support from funding

The total costs of the project amount to around 35,500 euros. Interestingly, this sum is financed by various sources. The fund for Western Pomerania and the eastern Mecklenburg contributes 25,000 euros, while donations of 4,600 euros also flow into the financing. The city's own contribution is around 6,000 euros, which means that the financing for this ambitious project has already been secured.

Another remarkable point is that the young people themselves were included in the planning of the skate park. In a survey carried out at the Friedländer comprehensive school, it was shown that the project met with great encouragement among the students. In this way, they could even influence which seating is integrated in the park, which not only takes into account their needs, but also promotes their commitment.

The benefits of this project is clear: an improved skate park could increase the quality of life in Friedland for the younger generation and at the same time offer a secure platform for sporting activities. This shows how important it is to take into account young people's opinions in urban development. The project is viewed as a step in the right direction to make the skating park a living center for the youth where sports and communication can go hand in hand.
