Tool thieves strike during the day: Police asks for clues!

Röbel, Deutschland - alarm level red in Mirow and Röbel! One or more unscrupulous perpetrators are on the raid and target company vans. Valuable tools were stolen in an unprecedented series of five breakouts, and the police are on the greatest alert.

The brazen thieves struck during the day! In Priborn they cracked a VW Crafter and stolen tools worth around 7,000 euros between 11.30 a.m. and 2 p.m. But that was not all: in Lexow, not far from a construction site, they captured further tools from an unsecured Mercedes transporter between 7 and 11.30 a.m., while the employees were unsuspecting their work. Here the damage amounts to over 2,000 euros. In the night of Wednesday, an Opel transporter was broken up in Röbel, which resulted in a suspected loss of 1,400 euros. The perpetrators were also active in Mirow and cracked two vans on Granzower Straße, whereby stole electric tools worth at least 6,000 euros.

Anyone who saw suspicious people or vehicles in Priborn, Lexow, Röbel or Mirow during the times mentioned is urgently asked to report. The perpetrators seem to be targeted by company transporters who park employees near their residence after work. It is all the more important that companies park their vehicles safely, ideally in garages or closed backyards, to put the thieves the craft.
