Teterow celebrates Advent: Creative photo competitions at the Mühlenteich!
A real spectacle took place last weekend in Teterow! Hundreds of visitors flocked to John Dünninghaus's garden market to get in the mood for the upcoming Advent season in the middle of a festive atmosphere and the tempting fragrance of mulled wine. "A success across the board," cheered the businessman, who also wanted a higher participation in his photo competition. But the response was rather poor: only thirteen creative minds of around 8,000 inhabitants sent their pictures.
The special attraction of the competition was a wooden bank that shows the heraldic animal of the city, the pike. This was set up as a permanent loan at the Mühlenteich and is very popular. The best photos have now been awarded: The handball players of the SSV unit Teterow, who posed in their game maths, landed in second place. Third place secured a children's and youth group that the bank had decorated in autumn with chestnuts. But the absolute winner was a creative couple from Jabel, who came to the photo shoot with Kescher and fishing rod and thus delighted the jury.
The three winners can now look forward to great prizes from the garden market! And the next big event is already around the corner: Numerous Santa Clauses at the Mühlenteich are expected to march together for Advent lights on Friday at 4 p.m. Another highlight that makes the city shine in a festive shine!
