Revolution in nightlife: Drug checking protects party guests in Schwerin!

Schwerin, Deutschland - In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, history is written! A groundbreaking model project has started in the Zenit discotheque in Schwerin, where party guests can have their drugs tested for freeness for free. This innovative initiative, which started on Saturday, aims to protect consumers' health and to clarify them about the dangers of drug use. Surprisingly, this test was not announced in advance, but the visitor's curiosity was great!

accompanied by a research team from the University of Rostock, this unique drug checking is supported by the new “Drug-Checking” regulation, which has been in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania since June and does not exist in any other state. The Ministry of Health and the Caritas Association are behind this important substance analysis. Already at the Fusion Festival in Lärz there was a first test run that provided promising results.

Enlightenment and security in focus

After the analysis, the participants receive their result within a few minutes and are extensively informed about the effects and risks of the tested substances. Minister of Health Stefanie Drese (SPD) emphasized that every drug test must be associated with a risk assessment and education about the health consequences of consumption. Addiction doctor Gernot Rücker explained that the drug can be recognized overdosed or stretched through the drug checking and thus avoided. The Berlin Techno-DJ "Dr. Motte", which helped to shape the disco night, praised the project and wishes more such offers so that everyone knows exactly what they consume.

An important point: Even if the drug tests are free, the tested substances must be destroyed after analysis. The security of consumers comes first, and this model project could be the key to a more responsible handling of drugs in the party scene!
