New asphalt for the L272: Readings and construction work start!

A large traffic chaos is imminent! Between Burow and Gültz near Altentreptow in the picturesque Mecklenburg Lake District, the state road 272 is closed for several weeks. The Neustrelitz road construction office has announced the road renewal, which begins on Monday, November 18, with preparatory work. The affected residents are informed about the construction process by posting, while the local traffic is redirected.

Depreciation and construction phases

The first construction work between Gültz and Seltz lasts until November 25th. After that, the entire road width is required, which means that the L272 is completely blocked by December 13th! Traffic is diverted via Altentreptow, while the transport connections from Seltz to Burow and from the Letzin, Prots and Altenhagen to Gültz remain.

But that's not all! Public public transport will also be affected, but the morning school buses can drive through the construction site. In the spring of 2025, the second construction phase between Seltz and Burow, for which around 936,000 euros will be invested. Strabag AG from Neubrandenburg carries out the work and will inform about the details in good time. So be warned and plan your trips carefully!
