A shocking incident occurred on Friday afternoon in Neubrandenburg when a 35-year-old was the victim of a sophisticated theft in the parking lot of a shopping center on Mirabellenstrasse. The man had stowed his purchases in the trunk and completed his car to do further errands. But when he returned after about 30 minutes, his vehicle was no longer connected to the key and no longer started. The reason? A stolen shopping bag worth over 120 euros!

The police suspect that a perpetrator has intercept the key signal when the vehicle was opened. This made it possible for the thieves to steal the fully packed shopping bag without breaking the car open. The injured party, a German, was forced to have his vehicle towed because the technology no longer worked by catching the signal. A little effort for the perpetrators, but a big loss for the victim!
