Christmas markets in MV: shine, enjoyment and security for everyone!

Schwerin (dpa/mv) - The festive time is just around the corner! In just one week, on November 25th, the Rostock Christmas market opens its goals and promises a spectacular experience. With 167 exhibitors from all over Germany and international participants from Poland, Finland, Lithuania and the Netherlands, the market becomes a true land of milk and honey for Christmas lovers. From sparkling jewelry to delicious egg liqueur to handmade decorations - there is something for everyone here! The opening is accompanied by Mayor Eva-Maria Kröger (left), and the majestic, 18 meter high Christmas tree will shine for the first time this year.

But security has a top priority! In order to protect visitors, special "terrorist closures" are installed on the access roads, and a comprehensive security concept with the police, security personnel and fire brigade ensures that everyone can celebrate carefree.

Christmas markets in Schwerin, Neubrandenburg and Greifswald

The Christmas market in Schwerin, which also begins on November 25th and is open until December 30th, will transform the historic old town into a winter wonderland. Here the visitors can expect handmade goods, regional delicacies and an exciting carousel. A strict security concept is also implemented here to ensure the safety of the guests.

The weaving bell market will take place in Neubrandenburg from November 26 to December 22nd. Here, visitors to the city center can enjoy Naschwerk and Mulled wine, while a ferris wheel and an ice rink provide additional entertainment. Security forces will be on site to guarantee a safe environment.

and not to forget: The Christmas market in Greifswald opens its doors on November 28 and will usher in Advent until December 21st with 35 exhibitors on the historic market square and the fish market. The festively decorated wooden stalls, the Christmas pyramid and the fairy tale forest promise an unforgettable experience. The city administration emphasizes that the security situation is stable and regular agreements with the police take place.
