Wackerow: Court decides on controversial mayoral election!

A legal dispute over the mayoral election in Wackerow, a small town in the Landhagen office near Greifswald, has heated the minds! Kai Dröse from the CDU won the election in June with 538 votes against the former mayor Torsten Maass from the community community, which received 431 votes. But the joy of victory did not last long because the dialing of Dröse was questioned. A central point of dispute: Did Dröse actually have his main apartment in Wackerow or was he reported in a wrong place?

On Tuesday, in the administrative court, the decision was made! Five judges, including two volunteers, heard the arguments. While Dröse was not present, Maaß appeared to express his concerns.
