Rescue dogs in action: anniversary celebration in Greifswald on Sunday!

Studentenberg 4, 17489 Greifswald, Deutschland - For 25 years, the heroic four-legged friends of the rescue dog squadron Easternvorpommern-Greifswald have tirelessly deployed! In any weather and under all conditions, over 20 committed volunteers with their 16 loyal dogs campaign for the rescue of missing people in the Region. These brave animals are particularly trained to find people with dementia who often get around disoriented. The rescue dogs are also ready for tourists who have strayed in nature. Every year they move out around 50 times to save lives!

To perfect their skills, the dogs train up to five times a week. The impressive work of this rescue dog squadron will be presented on Sunday, November 17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors can look forward to exciting insights into the processes of the missions and learn how the rescue dogs are used in practice. An event that you shouldn't miss!
