Hansa Rostock and Schwerin: Women's football celebrates semi -finals!

An exciting evening in the women's football cup! Hansa Rostock has reached the next round with a clear 3-0 win against Greifswald FC. The goals fell early: Julia Heinschel opened the game in the 9th minute, followed by Laurentia Köhler, who added in the 17th minute. After half -time, Köhler made everything clear with her second goal in the 53rd minute. Hansa coach Tino Spörk was satisfied: "We finally kept the zero and the victory was deserved. Now we are concentrating on the league game against Turbine Potsdam II."

Schwerin and Stralsund also move into the semi-finals

The FSV Schwerin prevailed 3-1 against Lübzer SV in a game of patience. Line Eisenhardt put the Schwerin in the lead in the 19th minute. Coach Benjamin Lau praised his team's performance: "We knew that Lübz was defensively strong, but we deservedly won and look forward to the semi -finals." In Stralsund, HSG Warnemünde experienced an unfortunate game. After a double strike by Stralsund in the 10th and 11th minute, Warnemünde fought back, scored the connection goal by Lea David in the 84th minute, but there was nothing more. Coach Jörg Burstaller was disappointed: "We didn't play enough and Stralsund just had more Fortune."

The first three semi-finalists have been determined: Hansa Rostock, FSV Schwerin and 1860 Stralsund. The fourth participant will be investigated on November 29 when international FC Rostock II meets the favorite 1. FC Neubrandenburg. The tension increases who will qualify for the semi -finals next!
