Literary evening in Heidelberg: Voices of Europe in dialogue!
Heidelberg becomes the setting for a fascinating European reading evening! On Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 7 p.m., four talented authors from different European countries will gather at the adult education center to present their impressive texts. The topics? Foreignness, arrival, home and the striving for belonging - all burning questions in our time!
The authors are no strangers: Adriana Carcu will read passages from her latest work “The Long Way Home,” while Sofie Morin will read from her book “Europe: In Between.” Safak Sarıçiçek will make the audience think with excerpts from "Two Young Pioneers", and Klaudia Rzeźniczak will take the stage with her work "Food for the masses. I am the masses". Moderated by Belmonte, the speaker of the Heidelberg Authors' Meeting, the audience will be actively involved in the dialogue - a unique opportunity to experience the thoughts and stories of these creative minds up close!
