Church choir under pressure: Theater ramp light celebrates for 40 years with As in heaven!

Möhringen, Deutschland - A spectacular anniversary is imminent! The Rampen light theater in the Möhringer CVJM home celebrates its 40th birthday with an exciting new production: "As in heaven". This staging not only promises musical highlights, but also a gripping story about a church choir that has the nose full of traditional hymns. A famous, sick conductor returns to his home village and meets the dissatisfied choir community - the drama takes its course!

The actors are not only passionate actors, but also have choir experience, which makes the piece particularly alive. Volker Hühn, a veteran of the theater, emphasizes: "We show ourselves more than ever from our musical side." With choir passages, solo singing and live music, the audience is kidnapped into a world full of emotions and sounds. But the stage of the CVJM home presents the troop for challenges: elaborate stage sets are not possible, so the actors rely on their presence and strength of the idea. "Stage designs are never realistic, for us it doesn't work at all," explains Hühn.

a full hall and a free pleasure

The first two performances are already completely sold out! There is space for 100 to 120 spectators in the CVJM hall, and the best thing about it: admission is free! Further performances are planned for November 21 and 22 and on December 6th and 7th, with a few remaining tickets for November 14th. But time is urging, because the committed theater people also have to pursue their professions, which limits rehearsal time. "For a year, it goes on until the rehearsals become a stage maturity," recalls Hühn. The Rampen light theater remains a place full of creative challenges and passionate performances - a real highlight in the region!
