Lindau, Deutschland - The EV Lindau Islanders are facing an exciting turn! Due to unfortunate injuries and the absence of planned support license players from Ravensburg, the Islanders reacted quickly and committed Robin Drothen. The talented 22-year-old striker changes from EV Landshut to Lake Constance and will already be on the ice against the Heilbronn falcons on Sunday evening!
head coach Michael Baindl is determined to implement his concept with four Powerlines, and the obligation of Drothen could be the key. "We have many failures to complain about and decided to continue to play with two imports. Therefore, the way through another funding license was the right choice," explains Milo Markovic, the sporting director of the Islanders. Drothen has already demonstrated his skills in Bayreuth last season and will now strengthen the Islanders' squad width.
