Wiesbaden in construction site chaos: streets blocked until the end of December!
Wiesbaden, Deutschland - in Wiesbaden it gets hot on the streets: drivers have to get prepared for traffic chaos in the coming weeks! Numerous road closures are the result of extensive construction work that extends throughout the city. As the city reports, it will hit some of the most busy streets - cyclists are also affected, while pedestrians can continue to use the sidewalks.
The construction work concerns Tränkweg, Walramstraße, Oberriethstraße in Biebrich and many more! Working until December 9th will be worked on in Tränkweg, while Walramstrasse is to be released again by November 17th. The Oberriethstraße must remain tight until November 1st, the Mathildenstraße by November 29 and Linzer Straße will remain closed until November 22nd. The unbearably long construction work on Carl-von-Linde-Straße begins on October 25th and should continue until the end of November. Those who are in the city are being diverted via Schönbergstrasse and Wiesbadener Straße, while the drivers who want to drive out of town have to dodge via Daimlerstrasse and Flachstrasse.
chaos on the Kaiser-Friedrich-Ring and more!
The Kaiser-Friedrich-Ring will also become a needleber from October 28th! Here, the bus lane is only lined with one lane while cyclists are redirected. Pedestrians can flash through, but increased caution is required for all road users! All work should be completed by November 11th. Friedrich-Ebert-Allee and Lessingstrasse are also targeted-here the supply lines are screwed. The closures will stop until November 29th.
The Holzstraße will be completely closed in two construction phases from October 28th because a water pipe must be renewed - here too, the work takes until the end of December, followed by other hardships. Drivers who have to meander through the construction sites can adapt to a long time of patience!
