Wiesbaden, Deutschland - A spectacle of ideas and visions took place on November 9th in Wiesbaden! The second youth conference "Youth Happens" attracted over 130 committed young people aged 13 to 17, who developed their visions of the future for the city full of enthusiasm. The opening by the youth and social secretary Dr. Patricia Becher in the Schelmengraben district center set the tone for a weekend full of creative discussions and innovative projects.

The young people had the unique opportunity to speak directly to city politicians and administrative representatives. Burning topics such as environmental and climate protection, urban development and leisure activities were lively under the motto "Youth Happens". Supported by the city administration specialists, the participants worked out exciting project ideas, which they presented in an impressive "Gallery Walk" the next day. Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende was personally on site and was enthusiastic about the creativity and commitment of the young visionaries: "It is fascinating with what energy the young people approached their ideas. Your approaches show that you are clearly recognizing the challenges of our city to take responsibility."
