A very special sporting event is just around the corner! On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, the 1st Volleyball Club Wiesbaden e.V. invites you to an exciting trial training for sitting volleyball! Here is the opportunity for recreational athletes of all ages and genders to discover the exciting sport that is suitable for both people with and without impairments. No previous knowledge is required - just get there and participate!

under the direction of the talented Thyrza Kiewik, a former player of the Dutch first division, the training becomes a real highlight. After a serious accident, she was forced to give up her career in stability, but found a new passion in the sitting volleyball variant. This type of volleyball is played on a 10 x 6 meter field, while the participants sit and slide on the floor. A great concept that combines team spirit and fitness!

Details on trial training

on October 30, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the barrier-free Friedrich von Bodelschwingh School in Wiesbaden-Biebrich, interested parties can learn the basic techniques of sitting volleyball. After warming up, slip techniques and exciting games are on the program. So that everyone has the opportunity to take part in dynamic, you are asked for prior registration!
