Dog attack in Echzell: Brave boy saves Rehkitz from death!

In a shocking incident in Echzell, Wetteraukreis, a fawn was brutally attacked on Saturday, November 9th, by two free -range dogs. However, the brave use of an unknown boy who was protecting against the injured animal could not avert the fate of the fawn. Despite his brave intervention, the young animal later had to be redeemed by a tenant.

Around 4:30 p.m. a witness noticed the cruel event on a path near the street "Am Preulen". The two dogs, described as a medium-sized with floppy ears and a black and white spotted fur, had already seriously injured the fawn. After the attack, the fawn managed to flee into a ditch, but was found a little later in the adjacent forest by the tenant, who had no choice but to redeem the suffering animal.

Investigations into hunting.

The Friedberg police immediately initiated investigations into suspected hunting. The officials ask the public for information to identify the responsible dogs and their owners.
