Grünzug in Karben: CDU plans playground and leisure activities!

in Karben, an exciting project takes shape! A lively green area is to be built in the new development area Brunnenquartier, which not only offers fresh air, but also numerous leisure opportunities for the citizens. The CDU has collected creative ideas to transform the area between the state road and the Nidda cycle path into a real local recreation paradise. CDU parliamentary group leader Mario Beck emphasizes that after the first plans presented to the Committee on Urban Planning and Infrastructure, the right time is now to further concretize the concept.

On Friday, November 8th, the CDU's six proposals will be discussed in the community center at 8 p.m. The ideas range from a playground with exciting movement areas to a mini golf course that should ensure additional fun and leisure activities. A large garden chess board and active elements such as via ferrata and floor trampolines are also part of the plan. In addition, a cyclist resting area with a robust public gas grill is to be created in order to promote sociable get-together in nature.

Environmental education and nature experience

A special highlight will be the planned water and meadow teaching trail, which runs along the green area and should offer stations to local waters and to the flora and fauna. CDU city councilor Sebastian Wollny emphasizes how important nature-related experiences are and refers to the positive experiences with the Nidda renaturation. The combination of nature and leisure elements is intended to promote lively and active district design and arouse the interest of the citizens.
