Wetterau health center: better care for Bad Nauheim!
A significant change in health care is imminent! The free voters Wetterau and Bad Nauheim have set a groundbreaking step with Mayor Klaus Kreß: The Wetteraukreis takes over the Wetterau health center completely! This decision is celebrated as a great progress for medical care in the region and promises to significantly strengthen the health infrastructure. Klaus Kreß emphasizes: "The takeover not only ensures medical care in Bad Nauheim, but also strengthens our regional health base!"
In the coming years, over 100 million euros will flow into the construction of a modern hospital that creates an important level 2 supply offer between the renowned university clinics Gießen and Frankfurt. Markus Theis, Chairman of the Free Voters Wetterau, describes this takeover as a strong signal for the commitment of the Wetteraukreis to ensure and expand health care sustainably. "Hospital care is a task of the counties, not the municipalities. The free voters have actively supported this process because Bad Nauheim historically had its own hospital, which was no longer portable."
a new way for health care
The takeover is seen by the free voters as an opportunity to improve medical care in the region. Matthias Lüder-Weckler and Michael Schmale, chair of the free voters Bad Nauheim, are convinced: "This step is crucial for the future of our health city. We believe that this will lead to better care for our citizens!"
The free voters are determined to continue to work for the interests of citizens in relation to hospital care, especially after the controversial closure of the Mathilden Hospital in Büdingen. Markus Theis emphasizes: "We will do everything we can in the district council that the region remains efficient despite the new hospital reform!" The takeover of the health center by the Wetteraukreis could be the key to a more robust health care in the Wetterau!
