Friedberg: A remarkable moment for the police in the Wetteraukreis! The committed officials handed over a donation of EUR 223 to the Weissen Ring e.V., which comes from the generous contributions of the citizens. This donation is the result of the popular bicycle coding campaigns that took place in Friedberg and Bad Nauheim and organized by police chief Karina Kohnert and police chief commissioner Bernd Büthe. Over 270 bicycles were provided with the unique F.E.I.N. code, which enables a clear assignment to the owners and detered thieves!

The coding campaigns were also very popular in 2024 and show how important people in the Wetteraukreis is to protect their bicycles. The donation box for the Weissen Ring e.V. was enthusiastically used by the citizens to help the needy victims of crime. On Monday, November 4th, 2024, the donation was ceremonized at the Friedberg police station, where the Wetterau management manager, chief police director Thorsten Fleischer, was present. Michael Pollesch, the representative of the Weissen Ring in the Wetteraukreis, gratefully accepted the donation.
