Friedberg: Free training to protect children on November 16!
As part of the recently updated Federal Child Protection Act, the focus is increasingly focused on the safety and well-being of children and adolescents. These regulations aim to recognize and prevent potential dangers such as neglect or abuse. An essential part of this protection is the training of volunteers who work in various organizations with children and adolescents.
In this context, the youth work department of the Wetteraukreis organizes an important training for group leaders on November 16. This advanced training is intended to help the participants understand the challenges and questions that can occur in the implementation of the protection mandate. The aim is to prepare volunteers for their responsibility and enable them to act adequately in the suspicion of child welfare.
training for volunteers
The event takes place in Friedberg, Homburger Straße 17, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and is free of charge for all volunteers who work in clubs and associations. In order to be able to participate in this valuable training, a written registration is necessary. The corresponding registration form can be conveniently downloaded online at wetteraukreis.de .
The training will convey a comprehensive understanding of the protection mandate. This includes, among other things, how different forms of child welfare can be identified and which specific instructions are available in the event of suspicion. Furthermore, the limits of responsibility and the legal framework are discussed in order to provide the volunteers the necessary tools they need in their work
In addition, participation in this training for the extension of the youth leader card (Juleica) can be counted, which should be another incentive for many volunteers to actively participate in the training. Interested parties can register via email, whereby the exact address is hidden in the text for organizational reasons.
The initiative exemplifies the increasingly growing awareness of the security of children and adolescents in society. Through proactive training, volunteers are not only sensitized, but also better prepared for possible challenges that they could encounter in their important work.
