As part of the recently updated Federal Child Protection Act, the focus is increasingly focused on the safety and well-being of children and adolescents. These regulations aim to recognize and prevent potential dangers such as neglect or abuse. An essential part of this protection is the training of volunteers who work in various organizations with children and adolescents.

In this context, the youth work department of the Wetteraukreis organizes an important training for group leaders on November 16. This advanced training is intended to help the participants understand the challenges and questions that can occur in the implementation of the protection mandate. The aim is to prepare volunteers for their responsibility and enable them to act adequately in the suspicion of child welfare.

The event takes place in Friedberg, Homburger Straße 17, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and is free of charge for all volunteers who work in clubs and associations.
