50 years of Musikverein Rudingshain: anniversary with honors and memories!
Rudingshain, Deutschland - The Musikverein Rudingshain celebrated its 50th anniversary in a festive setting! What once started with a youth band in 1969 has developed into a blooming wind ensemble that today consists of 22 active musicians. The chairwoman Sabrina Hofmann invited to an anniversary evening in the community center, where the celebrations were opened with the Eurovision hymn and a concert march. District chairman Burkhard Licher paid tribute to the "50 years of music enjoyment and intensive musical work" and delivered the greetings from the association associations.
Special honors were on the agenda: Carina Reichard received the badge of honor in silver for 30 years of active membership, while Ellen Fischer, Bernd Weihrich and Bernd Neumann were awarded the gold needle for 50 years. Berthold Döring was honored with the Medal of Merit in Gold for 20 years, and Silke Hartmann received the bronze award for ten years. In addition, the music association was awarded the bronze plaque of the Federal Association of German Music Associations - a proud sign of the merits of the association!
A look back at the history of the club
The history of the association was told alive: in 1967 Werner Döring began training young people on wind instruments, and in 1969 the youth band performed for the first time at the singing festival. In 1974 the music association was officially founded with 77 founding members. During the anniversary, Hofmann looked back on the development of the association, including the various club dresses over the years. The musical highlights ranged from morning pints to birthday servers to atmospheric concerts and festivals.
Pandemy was a challenge, but since 2022 the ensemble has inspired Open Air with a new brass music and continues to organize the popular children's carnival. Mayor Benjamin Göbl, who himself failed due to the recorder, congratulated the members and praised their wide repertoire. The founding members were also honored for their loyalty, although many of them are still active in the club. An evening full of music, memories and warm congratulations - the Musikverein Rudingshain has firmly anchored its place in the cultural history of the region!
