Young people explore democracy: premiere of the film Open” in Lauterbach
As part of a special event, the premiere of the film “Open” was celebrated in the canteen house in Lauterbach. The focus was on central questions about democracy for youth: What does democracy mean for young people? How do you experience this in your everyday life and how is democracy reflected in your life? The film "Open up" is a joint project by the Documentary Working Group, which has launched the Hessian documentary day, the youth welfare office Vogelsbergkreis and the association "Hoch9", supported by "Living Democracy!" 15 members of the district youth parliament (KJP) Vogelsberg were actively involved in the creation of the film and, together with documentary film, developed their perspectives on the importance of democracy.
