In an emotional moment for the city of Alsfeld, Stefan Langer was ceremoniously retired after 46 years of tireless work! The mayor Stephan Paule and Mario Habermehl, a representative of the construction depot, homely paid homage to a moving ceremony in the town hall, which recognized his considerable contribution to the city. For over two decades, Langer has shaped the face of Alsfeld since his attitude in 2001.
Stefan Langer, who started his career with bricklaying in 1978, worked in various positions in construction before he came to the construction yard in 2001. His versatile tasks included everything from road construction to traffic safety, which brought him the respect and recognition of his colleagues. Mayor Paule praised Langer's craftsmanship and his commitment: "It is not a matter of course that someone is there for so long."

In his moving farewell approach, Langer reflected on the valuable years in Alsfeld and the close connection to his colleagues. "I will miss the cooperation with my colleagues and the varied tasks in particular," said the 65-year-old with a nostalgic smile. The city administration emphasized that its expertise and experience are incomparably appreciated.
